Chicago River cruise.

The past fews weeks I got to sneak in a few trips during the busy pool season. I went

to Boston to visit my good friend of 30 years, Brian and his family, and to take in

the Roger Waters "The Wall" concert from 4th row center (thanks to Brian). It was

quite an audio and visual experience! Then Cathy and I went on a getaway to

Chicago for a few days and saw Neil Diamond in concert. We also to a cruise on

the Chicago river and an awesome bicycle tour through Chicago neighborhoods. It

was an awesome weekend and as always had a great time in the windy city!

OKC Memorial

Last month I took Emma to visit the OKC Bombing National Memorial. I had been there many times, but had never visited the museum. It was a very moving experience and I was very impressed with Emma and the way she comprehended the whole story. We bought a very well written children's book that tells the story in a way little ones can understand. It was a great experience for both of us.

Emma's Dance Recital, 2012

Emma just finished her second year at Encore Dance with her recital. She has not decided if she will continue this fall as recently she has expressed an interest in the violin and has moved up to the Dynamites Team at gymnastics which meet twice a week. Cathy and I are open to try whatever activity she wants. We just want her to put 100% and work hard at whatever that is.

School Days 2011-12

As the school year winds down, we just wanted to share Emma's class

and individual picture from this year. She has loved being in Ms. Frasier's

Pre-K class at Francis Tuttle and looks forward to moving on to James L.

Dennis Elementary School for Kindergarten in August.

We were blessed once again to be able to spend our spring break on our favorite island of Maui. We celebrated our birthdays there and had an awesome vacation! Hopefully Hank, Tricia, and Sophie will be joining us there in 2013!
