We took a trip to New York City the weekend before Thanksgiving. We rented a great little apartment on the Upper West side. Saw The Lion King and had a fantastic trip! Always one of our favorite places to visit!

Hello Again! Not sure where to start.......
It has been a long time since we have updated this blog. I am really not sure if anyone still checks it, but we do want to keep it going. I'll start out with a summary of our summer.
Cathy took nine chemotherapy treatments, and they were very successful in shrinking her tumors. On June 23 she had a successful surgery preformed by Dr. Joan Walker at OUHSC to remove them. She was in the hospital for a week. In mid-July she started nine more chemotherapy treatments and completed them September 23. Her last CT scan on August 31 revealed that she is cancer free! She is an amazing women, going from stage 4 ovarian cancer to cancer free! We thank everyone for their prayers and support! We know that faith, prayer and great medicine has mad the difference! Cathy will now have a CT scan every three months for the next two years. Cathy returned to work October 3rd and is doing great! We are so thankful for everything God has given us and always appreciate the prayers for our family, and Cathy's good health.

With all that was going on with Cathy, we still had a busy summer. Emma is doing competitive cheerleading with Cheer's All-Stars. She also was a part of Discover Tennis' summer program and played in her first USTA tournament. She is continuing with violin lessons and doing very well. Our pool season went well thanks to the awesome people we have working with us. It was tough on me to take care of my family and run the business, but our good folks really stepped up and did an outstanding job!
