Hanoi, September 25th

The strange looking fruit you see is called a Dragon Fruit. I had never heard of it until Jack introduced it to us. It tastes alot like Kiwi fruit. We visited the Old Quarter in Hanoi today with Jack, Johanna, and Sam. We had lunch at a great little Italian restaraunt there. We also bought tickets for the famous Water Puppet show which we will see on Sunday. Tomorrow we are going on a day trip to Halong Bay. It is a 3 hour drive from Hanoi. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth. If you don't believe me, google it and see.
Everyday with Emma Reese is a new adventure. She is the happiest child we have ever seen. She smiles, talks, and laughs all the time, at least until you get a camera out. Then she goes into serious mode. Tomorrow or Saturday I am going to write about all the things she has learned this week. She mimics everything we do. She still won't let me hold her, but plays with me if Cathy is around. Like I said previously, it really doesn't bother me that she won't let me hold her, I just feel sorry for Cathy because Emma won't let me help her. We hope everyone is well back home. We are really enjoying our time over here. It is an amazing place and we really have alot of respect for the people. Until next time, Thomas, Cathy, and Emma.

I'm guessing we shaved the facial hair off so Emma could see what her daddy looked like. Enjoying your daily pictures.

Hi, we like your new rosey-cheeked look Mr. Keller! Very daddy like! Dragon Fruit looks yummy. You can tell that Emma loves her momma! We all loved Emma in the "suitcase" picture; it is our favorite. It shows she is ready to come home. We miss you and can't wait for you to come home.
